Blood tests
You may purchase products for personal use and by buy tests for others, however, they must enter their own details at the point of purchase.The person taking the test registers their information and links the test. This ensures the lab has accurate details for sample processing. Purchase implies agreement with these Terms.
The person completing the personal details form online, must be the individual providing a sample. Requesting a kit requires providing personal details, including full name, address, gender at birth, birth date, email address and phone number, allowing our partner laboratories to properly identify samples.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to buy a product and provide a sample for testing.
Location Restriction: We ship sample kits solely to UK addresses, and our partner labs will only process samples collected and posted in the UK.
Test Results andLimitations: Test results for home blood tests will come without recommendations unless a follow up appointment with the doctor is booked with one of our clinicians. Our services do not replace professional medical evaluation which can be booked via your own GP or with an Eden Clinic clinician through our wesite. . If you have health concerns, please consult a doctor directly.
Test results may suggest further testing or consultation with a GP. You are solely responsible for following such recommendations. ASJS Medical Ltd accepts no liability if you choose not toact on this advice.
Most tests will not have reports, you can opt to book in with the clinician to discuss them via the blood test. By purchasing this blood test, you agree to share abnormal results with a qualified medical professional and acknowledge that Eden Clinic is not responsible for any consequences if you fail to do so.

If we need to contact you, we’lluse the information provided in your order. This may include emails, calls, orletters. Test results will be sent via email. In rare cases requiring urgentmedical attention, we may contact you directly regarding results. Ensure yourcontact details are up-to-date, as you are responsible for their accuracy.
OUR PRODUCT
We offer an online service for ordering medical tests through our website. Each test has a has details on the website about whether:
- A sample kit will be mailed to you for home collection.
- A clinic visit or appointment with a phlebotomist is required. If you require a phlebotomist, this will need to be arranged locally by you.
Home Collection Kits: For finger-prick samples collected at home, a kit will be mailed with complete instructions. Follow these carefully and use only the provided equipment. ASJS Medical ltd disclaims liability for injuries resulting from using other equipment.
Local Phlebotomy: If you opt for a test kit to be sent to you, please do not open the kit. It is intended for trained personnel. Hand the kit to the phlebotomist you arrange to take your blood at the start of the appointment.
Send your sample to the Eden Clinic partner lab for testing using the prepaid return envelope provided. We recommend tracking your package by recording the number under the barcode. For certain tests, next-day delivery may be necessary at your expense.
Test results will be emailed to you. If needed, we may contact you regarding your sample and results via phone or email.
The Product is delivered once your test results are available as outlined above. You are responsible for selecting tests appropriate for your needs. If uncertain, consult our support team atsupport@edenclinic.co.uk.
PRIVACY
We may share anonymous data for research purposes. Your information may be shared with Public Health England or your local health team if your test detects a notifiable disease (e.g. hepatitis). Data will not be shared with third parties for marketingor other purposes unless specified in these Terms.
Your personal data is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please review it as it includes important terms that apply to you.
CONTRACT FORMATION
Our website guides you through placing an order, allowing for corrections at each stage. Payment must be made in full before order processing.
Tests are valid for 120 days from the order date (“Validity Period”). If a sample is not sent within this period, the test will expire without refund eligibility.
If Eden Clinic cannot fulfill a test, we will notify you and refund your payment within 10 working days.
Ordering and submitting a sample to our lab implies your informed consent to have the test conducted by ASJSMedicalLtd and its partner labs.
PAYMENT
Payments can be made by debit or credit card.Please see our checkout page for a list of PRODUCT PRICING AND DELIVERY FEES
- Pricing: Product prices are as listed on our website when you place an order. Prices may change over time but will not impact orders that have already been placed.
- Additional Charges: Additional fees apply for phlebotomy services which needs to be arranged by the person purchasing the kit.
- Delivery: Samples sent to our lab by recorded delivery will be at your cost.
ORDER PROCESSING, DISPATCH, AND DELIVERY
- Order Processing: Orders are processed within 2 working days after payment. A sample collection kit will be sent via first-class post with an estimated 2-3working-day delivery.
- Important Instructions: Test instructions will be sent inside the test kit box.
- Kit Delivery and Responsibility: Sample collection kits are your responsibility from the point of delivery until they reach our lab.
- Replacement Kits: Lost or damaged kits can be replaced for a fee of £5. Damaged kits received through the mail will be replaced free of charge.
SAMPLE COLLECTION AND TEST RESULTS
- Sample Instructions: Each test may have specific sample collection requirements, including fasting or timing. Follow instructions carefully to ensure accurate results.
- Sample Return: Send samples back on the same day they are collected as soon as possible after they have been collected, using the pre-paid envelope provided.
- Handling Delays: If collection is late in the day, store the sample in a cool place and send it the next day. Delays may impact results.
Unprocessed Samples: If a sample fails due to quality issues, a second collection kit will be sent at no charge.
Test Result Timing: Test result turnaround times are estimated and not guaranteed.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation Window: Blood test orders can be cancelled any time before a sample kit is dispatched. After dispatch, you have 30 days to cancel. Cancellation isn’t allowed after the sample has been collected.
Clinic appointments can be cancelled with full refund if the cancellation request is made giving a minimum of 72 hours notice. Cancellations within 72 hours of the planned treatment will result in retention of the £50 booking fee.
Refunds: Refunds are processed within 10 working days to your original payment method. Postage costs are non-refundable.
PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
- Changes: Promotions and discounts can be modified to products and services at any time. Detailed terms are available on our site.
LIABILITY
- Limitations: Our liability is limited to the value of your contract. We’re not liable for lost or delayed samples, postal issues, or unqualified phlebotomy providers.
- Sample Handling: Accurate results depend on timely sample handling and compliance with instructions.
EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Unforeseen Events: We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by unforeseen events. You may cancel if delays extend beyond 30 days.
CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS
- Terms Updates: We may update these terms periodically. Current terms apply at the time of order. You may cancel your order if you disagree with new terms.
GENERAL TERMS
Jurisdiction:
Contracts are governed by English law, with disputes handled in English or, for residents of Northern Ireland or Scotland, the courts in their respective countries.
This Contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
